We are very excited to announce that our fourth location is open! The Capital Ale House in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg is located at 917 Caroline Street. The building is 200 years old and set up much like our Downtown Richmond restaurant in that it is 25 foot wide and 275 foot long and has two levels. The design is respectful of the buildings history and compliment the old brick, wood beams and pine flooring of this time tested building.

Highlights of the restaurant design are an 80 long concrete bar, fireplace, accordion front windows, two private dining areas, a lounge with leather couches and dart boards, and a display beer cellar which will be controlled to the perfect cellaring temperature of 55 degrees!

We look forward to putting Fredericksburg on the beer enthusiasts map of Virginia.

The 25 wide by 267 deep, 150+ year old building located at 917 East Caroline Street in the Historic District of Fredericksburg, Virginia is the next stop for theses purveyors of great beer. Planned is an 80 long bar, 300 square foot beer cellar, private dining rooms and wood burning fireplace. The design will be respectful of the buildings history and compliment the old brick, wood beams and pine flooring of this time tested building.

Excitement builds as the completion of these projects progress. Beyond those, yes, the mission of beer drinking experience augmentation will continue.

Capital Ale House is an upscale-casual dinner house that features 62 craft and import beers on draught and over 300 selections of bottled beers. The menu features Regional cuisine and European fare consisting of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. The Capital Ale House products are prepared with Certified Angus Beef, fresh seafood, poultry, and vegetarian dishes. All of the food prepared at the ale house pair well with the tremendous selection of beers offered, while some recipes actually utilize the fine ales in their preparation.
